Gayle Cooley began actively showing and breeding quality pure bred dogs in 1978. She produced fifteen AKC Champions, and multiple top obedience competition English Springer Spaniels.
In 2000 she fell in love with and obtained her first Golden Retriever, Cooley's Serendipity, Sunny. Though not show worthy, Sunny assured that Gayle and Jud fell completely in love with the Golden breed. Eleven years later GCH 24KT Sunshine Belle joined the Cooley household. Belle is a wonderful show animal, who is athletic, smart, happy, and always entertaining. She has OFA good hips, and OFA normal eyes, elbows and heart.
Now semi retired from Conformation competition, Belle has amassed a total of eleven Bests of Breed, a Best in Show Specialty, and Group placements in her very short, limited specials career. Watch for Belle as she takes on agility and motherhood as well as obedience and field work. The "sky is the limit" what this special girl is capable of!
In the Fall of 2014 Smudge, Delaur's Uppity from Laurie Krekemeyer's Delaur Goldens joined our household. Smudge is major pointed and a real beauty. She is a half sister to Belle and will be back in the ring after maternity leave.
